Refund Request and Policy 

At Able Camps, we understand the inconveniences cancellations may cause for both our participants and our organization. Our goal is to maintain fairness while ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations in Thailand.

Able Camps Complete Refund Policy

Effective Date: January 2025

At Able Camps, we are committed to providing enriching and safe experiences for all participants. To ensure transparency and fairness, we have updated our refund policy to balance participant needs and operational requirements. By registering for our camps, you acknowledge and accept the terms outlined below.

1. Participant Cancellations

 

a. Cancellations 14+ Days Before the Camp Start Date:

  • Participants may cancel their registration up to 14 days before the camp start date and receive a refund as follows:

    • 70% refund for general cancellations not related to external events.

    • 50% refund for cancellations explicitly citing concerns related to recent news or external factors.

b. Cancellations Within 14 Days of the Camp Start Date:

  • Refunds will not be provided for cancellations made less than 14 days before the camp start date.

  • This policy is necessary to cover non-recoverable expenses such as:

    • Pre-ordered materials (e.g., T-shirts and supplies).

    • Staff salaries and training.

    • Venue and activity reservations.

c. Medical Cancellations:

  • Participants may cancel due to verified medical conditions and receive an 80% refund of the camp fee.

  • A valid doctor’s note must be submitted through the designated Refund Request Form to qualify for this refund.

2. Cancellations by Able Camps

  • If Able Camps must cancel a camp, participants will receive a 100% refund of the camp fee, excluding fees charged by payment gateway service providers (e.g., PayPal, Stripe, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, JCB, and others).

  • Refunds will be processed via the same platform used for the original payment.

Recommendation for Direct Payments:


To minimize potential fee deductions, we recommend making payments directly to Able’s bank account through the following methods:

  • Thai Banks (local transfers).

  • AliPay or WeChat Pay (for participants in China).

  • Pix (for participants in Brazil).

  • Other direct payment options as available.

3. Refund Requests Due to Recent News Events

We understand that concerns arising from recent news about safety in the region may affect participants’ confidence. To address this, the following policy applies:

  • Cancellations citing safety concerns related to these events will be eligible for a 50% refund of the camp fee.

  • Refund requests must be submitted through the designated Refund Request Form with a brief explanation of the concern.

  • While we understand these concerns, Able Camps assures all participants that safety remains our highest priority. We have implemented robust measures and continue to operate in compliance with local laws and regulations.

4. Refund Request Process

  • Refund requests must be submitted using the designated Refund Request Form, available on this page.

  • Refunds will be processed within 15 business days of receiving a completed request.

5. Behavioral Policy

Able Camps is deeply committed to the well-being and safety of all participants. Participants are expected to respect the emotional and physical boundaries of others.

If a participant demonstrates behavior that is emotionally or physically disrespectful to others (e.g., bullying, harm, or disruptive actions), they may be removed from the camp. In such cases:

  • Able Camps will not provide a refund but will offer support by connecting participants with discounted professional counseling services.

  • Counseling services will be provided by certified professionals specializing in Play Therapy and Child Psychology to help participants address and resolve behavioral challenges.

6. Compliance and Feedback

Able Camps operates in full compliance with relevant laws and regulations in Thailand. Our updated policy reflects these standards while striving to address participant concerns.
